Position: Assistant Clubhouse Manager

The role of being an assistant clubhouse Manager is integral to baseball operations. This position requires someone who can work long hours and maintain a positive, upbeat demeanor.
Responsibilities Will Include but Are Not Limited To:
- Responsible for daily upkeep and cleaning of the home/away clubhouse
- Assist the home/away clubhouse manager with laundry including but not limited to BP uniforms, game jerseys/pants, towels, personal laundry, etc.
- Assisting in loading and unloading buses for road trips
- On-field preparation for pre/in/post-game. Includes setting up and replenishing coolers with ice water, cups, bench towels, batting practice equipment, etc.
- Work closely with Hospitality Chef and team training staff to coordinate and provide post-game meals for Visiting teams
- Coordinate umpire crew arrival
- Manage laundry/requests from the umpires
- Ensure Umpire’s locker room is maintained and taken care of with the above responsibilities along with the league requirements
- Coordinate visiting teams’ arrival, especially if they are coming in with dirty laundry that will need to be laundered
- Manage laundry chemicals and be proactive when re-stocking becomes necessary
- Respect and integrity will be heavily emphasized while managing the Clubhouse
- Assist the Home Clubhouse Manager with any additional needs
Required Experience and Skills:
- Be available full time from April 2024 through September 2024
- Be punctual, able to follow directions, and team-minded
- Be comfortable engaging with guests of all backgrounds in a fast-paced environment
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have excellent verbal communication skills
- Be comfortable multi-tasking and resolving issues
- Be able to maintain confidentiality
- Dependable with reliable transportation
- Previous experience in a similar environment
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights, and holidays
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions
- Must be able to sit or stand for an extended period of time
- Must be able to lift and carry 25-35lbs on occasion
Housing:
- A host family will be provided during the season
