TITLE: Altius Athlete Marketing Manager (On Campus)
REPORTS TO: Executive General Manager (On Campus)

Purpose: The Altius Athlete Marketing Manager (the “AMM”) is responsible for training and support surrounding the execution of NIL activities for athletes, which includes ensuring athlete NIL commitments are managed, kept, and performed with national, regional, and local brands. This position will be responsible for acting as a liaison between athletes and brands to support the NIL activities of Tulane University (“Tulane”) athletes.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with Altius Executive General Manager (On Campus) and external partners to ensure the complete and accurate execution and fulfillment of all athlete NIL contracts.
- Oversee all athlete NIL activities at Tulane and work directly with brands to ensure needs are met to effectively set up sponsorship activations.
- Support day-to-day NIL schedules of Tulane athletes, which includes appointments, travel logistics, interviews, and marketing commitments.
- Create supplemental resources to help Tulane MMR partner secure athlete NIL engagements with corporate partners and other local, regional, and national brands.
- Prepare invoices, expense reports, financial statements and other documents as appropriate to manage athlete NIL contracts. Facilitate regular communication with athletes and brands as part of management and coordination of planned NIL activities.
- Serve as the key contact for athletes and brands on day of NIL activity activation.
- Create case studies of successful NIL activations for reference internally and externally.
- Work with the EGM and other Altius personnel to research and benchmark the collegiate NIL industry and stay current with relevant market trends and conditions.
- Stay updated on the latest NIL trends and best practices, including new technologies and platforms used to manage athlete NIL.
- Support virtual and in-person recruiting efforts as permitted by NCAA legislation.
- Regularly participate in Altius meetings and discussions regarding evolving trends in collegiate athletics and best practices.
- Adapt role to maximize opportunities as a result of evolving changes in NCAA rules and regulations.
- Provide regular reports to the EGM, Director, ASP College, and other Altius executives.
- Maintain highest level of confidentiality, both within the organization and with applicable university and external entities.
Designation: This position will be designated to Tulane University. It is expected that this role will require the individual to fulfill the majority of duties and responsibilities on Tulane’s campus and/or within its facilities.
