Job Title: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Compensation: Equity + Interim Cash Stipend (Full Salary Post-Funding)

Overview:
We are a pioneering sports technology and artificial intelligence startup with a strong early-mover advantage, an experienced team, and a bold vision. We are currently seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy and execution. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the future of a company at the intersection of sports, software, and AI innovation.

Please Note: This is an equity-based role with a modest interim stipend paid every six weeks. Full cash compensation (listed below) will commence following successful fundraising.

Key Responsibilities:
● Provide strategic and operational leadership of the technology function across engineering, development, and IT.
● Develop and execute the company’s long-term technology roadmap, ensuring scalability, performance, and innovation.
● Oversee the design, architecture, and maintenance of software platforms, systems, and infrastructure.
● Evaluate emerging technologies and determine applicability to the company’s products and goals.
● Foster cross-functional collaboration with product, operations, and business teams.
● Ensure system reliability, data security, and compliance with industry standards.
● Stay current with industry trends to anticipate future technological needs and opportunities.

Qualifications:
● Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
● Proven experience in a CTO or equivalent executive technology leadership role.
● Deep expertise in modern programming languages and frameworks, including but not limited to Python, C++, C#, React, Node.js, PHP, SQL. Experience with Unreal Engine is a significant plus.
● Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and server architecture, particularly with AWS.
● Demonstrated leadership in building and scaling technology teams.
● Strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
● Passionate about startups, innovation, and emerging tech in the sports and AI space.

Additional Information:
● Type: Full-time
● Compensation Post-Funding: $155,000 – $170,000/year
● Current Compensation: Equity + Bi-monthly Cash Stipend
● Benefits: Paid time off
● Experience Required: Minimum 12 years in technology leadership roles, including 6+ years of experience with AWS environments
