JOB SUMMARY:
The Corporate Travel Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of corporate travel for the Green Bay Packers organization. This includes booking flights, hotels, and rental cars while ensuring all travel arrangements align with organizational policies and budget. This role requires a high level of confidentiality, attention to detail, and professionalism to support both routine and high-profile travel needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Corporate Travel Director in fulfilling all organizational travel needs, with an emphasis on front office staff.
- Coordinate travel for corporate events including, but not limited to, Packers Alumni events, sponsorship travel, premium guest trips, and Hall of Fame Inc. induction banquets.
- Serve as the primary contact for travel logistics related to Alumni events.
- Book and manage international travel arrangements for employees for the NFL Global Markets Program.
- Ensure compliance with all Green Bay Packers’ commercial travel policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of and communicate airline policies, TSA regulations, and internal travel guidelines to staff.
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry related to travel documentation.
- Prepare travel itineraries and suitable alternatives in accordance with company travel policy for approval by travelers and management.
- Act as a resource for employees, researching and resolving travel-related issues as needed.
- Generate and provide detailed monthly business travel reports by department to the accounting team.
- Leverage airline agreements and collateral secured by the Sales and Business Development department to optimize travel value.
- Create and maintain individual travel profiles and records for all business travelers.
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with travel partners, including airline, airport, hotel, and rental car representatives.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4–6 years of experience in corporate travel management, including operations and account oversight.
- Proficiency in travel reservation systems (Worldspan and/or Sabre preferred).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service orientation.
- Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work with sensitive information in a highly confidential environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and deadline driven.
- Availability to work non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends, when necessary.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software applications.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Ability to sit and remain focused for extended periods.
- Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Operates in a professional office environment.
- Frequently uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and printers.
