We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a member of the Facilities Flex Crew - PM Events to assist team members with daily event setup, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure facility readiness. It involves working with vendors, customers, and internal teams in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do:

  • Participate in the preparation, setup, for arena events, and completion of conversions
  • Duties include both skilled and physical tasks, requiring heavy lifting
  • Interact with internal departments to meet their day-to-day building needs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with other departments
  • Assemble basketball courts, stages, and all aspects of events as needed
  • Must operate with a sense of urgency while prioritizing event needs
  • Handle minor housekeeping needs
  • Assist with additional stage-managing tasks as needed.

What We Need from Our Facilities Flex Crew :

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instruction
  • Experience and knowledge in operation with current OSHA standards
  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate multiple projects
  • Ability to develop, manage and prioritize event setup sheets
  • Ability to communicate via work radio
  • Highly organized and skilled with time management
  • Ability to function well as a part of a team
  • Basic computer skills preferred

Experience/ Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and some holidays to meet business needs
  • Ability to transit around the arena for long periods of time
  • Occasional travel from time to time for professional development
  • This position works mainly indoors, removed from extreme weather; exposure to weather is <5%
  • Very Heavy Work – Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. 
  • Requires some use of a computer.
  • Must be able to carry on a conversation both on the phone and in-person
  • Ability to Read, Write & Speak in English
