The Trenton Thunder are looking for Gameday Grounds crew members for the 2025 Season. The position will report directly to the Head Groundskeeper and assist with field preparation for the 2025 Thunder season
This is an hourly based position. This position mostly works nights with occasional day shifts for day games.
- Work in conjunction with the Head Groundskeeper to ensure a safe and aesthetically pleasing professional baseball field.
- Clay repairs – the infield skin, mounds and home plate, and the warning track.
- Foul line painting
- Perform moisture management on infield skin.
- Assist in tarp pulls
- Safely operate team-owned vehicles and transport equipment.
Qualifications
- Candidates must have the ability to do heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to endure extreme weather conditions (Heat, Humidity, Rain)
