Responsible for delivering housekeeping supplies throughout campus and performing other general sanitation and janitorial responsibilities on a 400-acre campus. Help maintain cleanliness levels in all areas of the property.
Position Responsibilities
- Deliver cleaning supplies and other related inventory to the housekeeping team across campus
- Responsible for trash and recycle pick-up and removal from various areas of campus
- Safely load and unload large shipments or pallets of housekeeping supplies
- Perform basic repair and maintenance on housekeeping tools like vacuums
- Responsible for the repair and installation of fixtures and dispensers
- Stock and restock inventory supplies across campus as needed
- Responsible for delivery of dirty and clean linens to various areas of campus
- Provide internal and external customers with quality service in a timely and friendly manner.
- Identify areas that need repair and complete maintenance tickets as appropriate
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience
- Working knowledge of the English language, written and verbal
- Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Skills
- Bilingual – English and Spanish
- Previous customer service experience
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and practices
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Ability to lift, carry, move, push and pull equipment or boxes up to 75lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning and inspection tasks
- Ability to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time.
- Ability to work on various indoor and outdoor surfaces including grass, turf, courts, etc. in all weather
- Ability to operate a golf cart safely and efficiently
- Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
- Requires the use of stairs on a consistent basis
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed
