Overview
The Office Clerk is responsible for coordinating with Management Staff to ensure events are opened and closed at the appropriate times. The Office Staff will also assemble required forms and ensure work force has properly filled out forms to completion. The Office Staff will visit work force locations to enforce all company policies and procedures related to food and beverage service. Additionally, the Office Staff will check on P.O.S. system functionality, acquire end of day reporting, and ensure Meal and Break guidelines have been followed. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $17.50-$18.50.
This is a seasonal role from July 2, 2025 and will end on August 20, 2025.
This position will remain open until August 29, 2025.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring work force arrives on schedule and will alert management of any scheduling conflicts or cancellations
- Responsible for ensuring all forms pertaining to the daily operations are filled out to completion during show opening and closing.
- Ensure work force is properly equipped with uniforms, inventory sheets, and work location keys.
- Responsible for answering office telephone and escalating or delegating critical issues as necessary
- Oversees staff in the concession stand ensuring proper uniform, appearance and break coordination.
- Responsible for ensuring concession stands are closed down at the appropriate time specified by the Show Info form
- Responsible for printing out and gathering of end of day financial reports
- Ensure employees return uniforms, operating bank, and inventory sheets at the end of day
- Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, professional, and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
- Possess valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state and federal regulations.
- Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS credit transactions and product inventory.
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.
