Overview

This position will report to the Manager of Parking & Mobility of State Farm Arena. This role will coordinate & supervise both the event parking and maintenance operations for State Farm Arena Parking.

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $25.00-$26.00.

Responsibilities

  • Directly reports to the Manger of Parking & Mobility. 
  • Manage aspects of events that are assigned by Director and Manager of Parking and Transportation.
  • Will be primarily responsible for the event set up, staff coordination, and supervision of supervisors when scheduled. 
  • Assist clients with event day logistics and suggest the most effective ways to use the facility for specific types of event functions. 
  • Work with management to ensure all events are set up to the client's specifications and that all fire codes and safety regulations are being followed. 
  • Responsible for the enforcement efforts of the operation as it pertains to Monthly and Daily parking operations. 
  • Recommend and evaluate required event staffing levels. 
  • Serve as Lead Supervisor as scheduled, predominantly for opening of events. 
  • Complete all duties with a customer service focus through teamwork & dedication to Oak View Group's mission and principles. 
  • Perform minor maintenance of all PARCS Systems (ticket jams in pay stations, repair barrier gates).   
  • Overseeing maintenance efforts and coordination of staff. 
  • Responsible for inventory of all parking equipment and relaying operational equipment needs to the Parking Manager.  
  • Responsible for performing safety checks and entering results on OVG’s Safety Platform. 
  • Coordinating staff to perform special maintenance projects. 

Qualifications

  • Experience Desired: 1-2 years in an event setting.
  • Ability to work extended hours including mornings, nights, weekends, on-call status, and holidays, as necessary.
  • Working knowledge of parking best practices.
  • Ability to anticipate problems and implement immediate corrective action.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations.
  • Ability to lead, give clear and concise direction.
  • Communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills required.
  • Ability to work flexible and extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.
  • Previous experience in event operations or parking operations is preferred, but not required.
  • Must be able to legally operate vehicles.
