Overview

Under general direction of the Sr. Accounting Manager at Citizens Bank Park, the Payroll Coordinator ensures the efficient and effective operations of OVG's Venue Management payroll function in a MLB Ballpark which includes exempt, non-exempt, and union employees. This position is remote with need to report to Citizens Bank Park monthly as needed. 

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $29.00-$30.00.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a payroll liaison between Corporate Payroll and Sr. Accounting Manager for OVG at Citizens Bank Park - Facilities Services Department. 
  • Resolves employee concerns in a timely manner by thoroughly researching and investigating the issue(s) and reporting back the findings to the employee or escalating to Sr. Accounting Manager for OVG at Citizens Bank Park. 
  • Process  bi-weekly payrolls for various entities and pay groups.
  • Process employee timecard data in ABI. 
  • Reviews payroll registers for assigned locations to ensure that all time entry data has been prepared for processing.
  • Receives and enters adjustments to on-cycle payroll process for assigned location. 
  • Validates and prepares off-cycle manual check requests to ensure that all employees receive any additional funds owed.
  • Assist with uploading of files for employee changes using ADP Payroll Systems.
  • Maintains the accuracy and integrity of the payroll system by carefully reviewing all entries made and remaining aware of their impact on the payroll process.
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding associates' personal information and payroll data at all times.
  • Assist in evaluation of ADP Payroll System to determine changes necessary for better process flow.
  • Assist in documenting all payroll processes and procedures.

Qualifications

  • 5 years minimum experience in payroll processes and procedures.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or other related field.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Thorough knowledge & understanding of ADP Payroll.
  • Proficient in Windows environment with strong Excel skills.
  • Must be accurate and efficient with ability to meet deadlines.
  • Detail oriented.
