Position Summary:
The Production & Press Box Staff supports the media and production team in executing game day operations from the press box and control room at the Brockton Rox. This team plays a key role in enhancing the fan experience, supporting media coverage, and ensuring smooth execution of in-game entertainment and announcements. Available roles include Live Camera Operator, Scoreboard Operator, and Jumbotron Graphic Operator.
Available Roles & Responsibilities:
Scoreboard/Pitch Clock Operator
- Manage digital scoreboard content during games
- Input game data in real-time, including player stats, scores, and animations
- Coordinate with official scorers and announcers to ensure accurate display
- Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively
Jumbotron Graphic Operator
- Managing video board software and content during games
- Loading up player graphics, animations, live cam feed, and other engaging video content
- Updating player statistics on graphics
Trackman Data System Operator
- Managing our data collection system for the pitchers, hitters, and coaches to use for scouting
- Inputting live game data, approving game data
- Troubleshooting errors in real time, working with Trackman support before/after games to manage rosters, stats, etc
General Responsibilities:
- Arrive on time and prepared for all assigned shifts
- Follow scripts, production cues, and schedules closely
- Work collaboratively with media, broadcast, and technical staff
- Maintain professionalism in a high-profile, live-event environment
- Ability to focus and perform under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays throughout the baseball season
- Role-specific experience (e.g. camera operation, scoreboard operation) highly preferred
Physical & Technical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods depending on role
- Familiarity with production equipment and software (specific to role) is a plus
