JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Blue Ridge Bobcats seek a Ticket Sales & Service Intern for the summer of 2025. This team member will work directly within the ticket sales department and will be supervised day to day by the General Manager. During the internship, the intern will undergo a multi-facet ticket sales training program to help develop and then apply their skills firsthand in various areas including but not limited to ticket sales, data management, and market research.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist with outbound ticket sales efforts including full menu sales opportunities (season tickets, group & premium tickets, and mini plans)
- Provide premier-level customer service to all fans.
- Database collection, input, and management of sales opportunities.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by ticket sales leadership
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements: Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program. MUST be able to receive course credit.
- Must be local to the Southwest Va areas.
- Prior ticket sales experience preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast paced multidisciplinary team environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
