Job Summary: The Hawks Studios Producer/Editor will report to the Director of Content. They will support the Hawks Studios department across video production needs and creative projects.
This position will primarily support our College Park Skyhawks brand. From show open hype videos, player features, social content, to Skyhawks marketing campaigns, this individual will help shape the identity of the Skyhawks video efforts to engage our fans. This individual will be responsible for a majority of Skyhawks gameday capture for marketing efforts. Lead storytelling on our two-way players who play for both the Hawks and Skyhawks to bring inspirational journeys to the spotlight across our accounts with a combined 5.7 million followers. This accounts for the core responsibilities of the role.
Beyond the Producer/Editor’s core responsibilities, they will collaborate on creating content for the Atlanta Hawks when they have available bandwidth. Take our branded content to the next level to resonate with audiences on social media. Create player spotlights by mixing highlights and interviews for social platforms. Collaborate with the Hawks Studios team to ideate and execute content for our seasonal Media Day to enhance the in-arena entertainment experience for our fans. Assist in documentary storytelling through our All-Access series “Taking Flight”.
This role is based on-site in Atlanta, GA. You will need to be able to travel to Atlanta Hawks office locations/and travel for video shoots in the Atlanta area when scheduled. This position is expected to be in office a minimum of three days a week.
